26 October 2011
A fun filled evening was enjoyed by all at Alvin's retirement and achievement award night. Many friends and members gathered to wish him fond farewell and best wishes on his retirement from the CHIP Executive Council after 32 years of dedicated service.
Because of Alvin's involvement with CHIP's Captioned Film Program and his dedication and love of films, joodi planned an "Academy Award Night" complete with a "Red Carpet". He was presented with a "Walk of Fame" plaque together with a golden "Oscar" statuette.
